Rockstar Motorcars Nashville TN
Sometimes the stars just line up. When I finished my edits for the NoviStretch shoot, I realized how much fun I had shooting cars. I thought they came out sharp, so I decided to cold call local dealers that had high-end cars. I pulled up Google and hit search. Rockstar Motorcars was the first one to come up. The name alone peaked my interest, because I thought to myself, my images are that kind of vibe and it would fit well. So I looked at their inventory and WOW. They have some awesome cars for sale! Second thing I noticed was that I could put my spin on the images and maybe that could help sell their inventory faster. So I cold e-mailed them and got a response!
It only took a few days to schedule a few cars that I could shoot as a trial run. I shot a Jeep Wrangler, a 1955 Chevy, a one of a kind 1989 Mustang and a Lowrider F-150. I knew these cars had to have top notch images, especially the Chevy. I mean that car is the holy grail. The 1950’s was the start of Americana, from Rock N Roll to the Vehicles, that was one lucky generation. So getting back to the images, I was shooting in their cool warehouse and it was nice and dark and gave me the opportunity to use multiple flashes and make these images pop.
When I got home and loaded the images to my computer I couldn’t believe what I captured. When I got to the Jeep and saw the flare from the lights that I captured, I got really excited! That image just blows my mind. I like a lot of the images I take and I’ll showcase them and share them on Facebook, but I don’t brag to people about my stuff. That changed with this image. I think I’ve shown everyone I see the Jeep photo! The reaction to the photos has been overwhelmingly positive. It was a huge boost and it’s really made me want to push this attempt full throttle!
